Louise, June, Judy, Lana, Zenith, Heather and Lynn attended.

We played  All I want is you, I love how you love me with Louise telling us the chord progression which is the same as some other songs we play (C AM F G7 C), All I have to do is dream (same progression), Cryin' Time, Look At Us by Vince Gill, Lie down, The Secondary Waltz, Fannin Street, Have you ever seen the rain, I'll see you in my dreams, Just Because, Rock and Roll Beat and I've Got Rhythm, Three Little Birds, Rox in the Box, Red Wing, The Saskatoon Moon, You don't love Me, Love Potion #9, You Belong to Me, Unclouded day, Wildflowers and our signature set ending song. 

We decided to practice and share the following songs for our June 11th picnic and strum at Ryall Park. Tim from Ukulele Club of Winnipeg will send the pdfs of the songs out with the Ukulele Club of Winnipeg newsletter.

Now that Sonatrice practices are over for the season and golf is starting up members are wondering if we could have our strum on Monday evenings (we could also strum on Wednesdays). Our regular strum will still be next Wednesday at the gallery and we will decide from there.

We played  Look at Us by Vince Gilll, All I Want is You, Cotton Fields, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Rock and Roll Beat and I've Got Rhythm (both songs through and then breaking into two groups to sing and play the songs together), Grow Old with You (the new arrangement without the kazoo parts repeated that Lana put together which is on the blog), January Wedding, You Belong to Me, Something Stupid  (starting on F, we may try starting on G next time), That Saskatoon Moon, Life is like a Mountain Railway, Rox in a Box, Lie Down Beside Me, Darlin' Corey, This World is not my Home in C , He'll Have to Go and our signature set ending song.

Lynn said he would bring a new song to try next week. I forget the name of it but he and I played it at the school and I think everyone will like it.

June, Barry, Judy, Lana, Zenith and Louise attended with Lynn arriving after baseball practice.

June brought a really cute song-- Rock 'n Roll Beat and I've Got Rhythm which we sang it in two parts.  We sang Rox in the Box (twice-- when Lynn got here, we wanted to do it again), Uncloudy Day, Sea of Love, Farewell to Nova Scotia, Three Little Birds, Saskatoon Moon, I'll See You in My Dreams, You Don't Know Me, You Belong to Me, Tonight You Belong to Me, Wish I Were in New Orleans, Darlin' Cory and lots more.

Those of you who have been missing our Strums will see a change in our playlist-- lots of new, great songs.  Check the blog for them.

Remember to keep Sunday, June 11, 2017 free for our Ukulele Strum and Picnic at Ryall Park. The Carman Collegiate Theatre and canteen area has been booked as a backup rain location. The Ukulele Club of Winnipeg and the Brandon Ukulele Club have been invited. Watch for an event page soon.

Louise, Lana and June welcomed Zenith back from the "warm" to a water-filled town.  June brought Blue Hawaii and Louise introduced Somethin' Stupid.

We played a lot of others as well. With four people, your turn comes up quickly.  Lorna arrived in time to provide the counter-point to our signature set ending song.
