Louise, Lorna, Lana, June, Lynn, Linda, Barry, Heather, Cathie and Zenith visited the Boyne Towers to play for residents as well as visitors from the Boyne Lodge.

We had a fantastic time playing our set list of songs we prepared for the event while the audience, seated with us in a circle, joined us in singing using song sheets prepared by Lana.

We played: You are my Sunshine, Amazing Grace, April Showers, By the light of the Silvery Moon, Cryin’ Time, Goodnight Irene, In the Good Old Summertime. Side by Side. Sentimental Journey, Take me out to the Ballgame, The Glory of Love . I’ll See you in my Dreams and We'll Meet Again.

Once we were done our set we invited the resdidents to sit in our normal practice where group members chose songs to play. We played some of our old favourites like Uncloudy Day, Wildflowers, Wagon Wheel, and some of our new favourites like That Saskatoon Moon, Rox in the Box and Harvest Moon.

The delightful evening ended with coffee, tea and cake served by Berthe Lelond. We will definitely be making a return visit.
