Louise, Lorna, Zenith,
Shirley, Helen, Marge, Barry, Lynn, Lori, Tom, Judy, and Heather met
upstairs in the gallery with some of us arriving early at 6:30 p.m. to practice
the strumming for Big Yellow Taxi.
Once everyone arrived we
played: Angeline the Baker, Darlin' Cory, Dream a Little
Dream, Annie's Song, Emerald Isle, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Cryin'
Time, Make You Feel My Love, Red Wing, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, You Belong
to Me 1952 version, Farmer Til I Die (Lori's song which she will send to
Heather to add to drive), Red River Valley. He'll Have to Go, Blue Eyes Cryin'
in the Rain in C, a new to us song called Paradise by John
Prine that Lynn shared, After the Goldrush in C, Brown
Eyed Girl in G (Heather to add to blog from drive), Wildflowers in
G (Heather to copy from drive to blog), Walk Away, Suitcase in my Hand, Grandpa Was a
Carpenter in G, and our signature set ending song.
Don't forget
the Manitoba Hal blues workshop on Wednesday, June 5 upstairs at the gallery and the Boyne River
Ukulele Strum and Picnic on Sunday, June 9 at Ryall Park.
