Thanks to all those who were able to attend our ukulele blues workshop with Manitoba Hal Brolund.

We learned how to shuffle on C and F, add in G7 and do a turn around, including some variations. Not sure if I termed all of that right but we might be able to show you next time if you missed it :)

You can find out more about Manitoba Hal  here:

Remember our Boyne River Ukulele Strum and Picnic is this coming Sunday from 12 to 4:00 p.m. at Ryall Park.

Players from the Brandon Ukulele  Club, The Ukulele Club of Winnipeg and the Prairie Strummers from Portage La Prairie will be joining us.

If the weather is too inclement we may move the even to Carman Collegiate.

Remember to bring your ukulele, a picnic lunch, a chair, a stand (I will have some extras), your performance piece, the new Ukulele Club of Winnipeg book (maybe bring the old Vancouver book too?), and let me know if there are any songs you want us to provide to the other groups.

Hope to see you there :)

- Heather

P.S.

If you haven't seen it yet, here's Manitoba Hal playing at the end of our evening.
