Just got home from tonight’s strum, was very good, Lynne, Judy, Linda, Marge, Zen, Barry and myself. We worked a little on Fish And Whistle by John Prine. Zen brought it last week. We have been asked to play and sing at the church service at the fair grounds this Sunday, planning to do Manitoba, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms, and Uncloudy Day. I hope I have that correct. We have been working on Manitoba Hal's blues strums every time except tonight as Louise always leads it and she was not there tonight.

Thanks Thelma :) Check out the Boyne River Ukulele Group Facebook page for a cute video from Pete and Shelley Mai. It is a re-post from a few years back of their ukulele plant where your Bonanza Ukulele, Poppy, was "grown".

If you are like me and will be away most of the summer missing our strum you may enjoy playing along with these videos. For some of the songs you can click in the description to find a companion tutorial video that gives information on the chords and strums used.
